Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology; master's or doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; active license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day after referral.
• Develop treatment plans and obtain approval from referring physician.
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants in direct patient care.
• Record evaluations, daily notes and progress; discharge planning.
• Instruct families and staff; participate in care conferences and training.
• Act as clinical preceptor for CFY/RFP students; ensure compliance with/state acts.
