Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a Leadman to supervise craft workers, mentor crews, and support Foremen while acting as a journeyman in boiler and tank fabrication. The role emphasizes precision, safety, and adherence to blueprints.

You will assemble, align, and weld boiler sections, perform testing, and coordinate crane-assisted lifts, with focus on quality and on-site efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading craft workers and coordinating field teams.
• Ability to read plans and follow specifications for boilers and tanks.
• Knowledge of safety rules and project procedures to work reliably.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark reference points for foundations and align components.
• Signal crane operators and assist in lifting components to position.
• Align structures and plates using plumb bobs, levels, and wedges.
• Bolts, welds, or repairs boiler sections and supports as needed.
• Install water-tube boiler components and perform routine testing for leaks.
• Maintain tools, perform minor repairs, and ensure safety compliance.
