The Lead supports staff competency and coordinates with OR, Materials Management, Infection Prevention, and Nursing to ensure patient safety and quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing program is required.
• 3–5 years of Sterile Processing or related perioperative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical leadership and oversight of SPD operations.
• Ensure instruments are processed per IFUs, policies, and standards.
• Monitor trays, sets, supplies to meet procedural needs.
• Lead quality assurance, audits, and regulatory readiness.
• Collaborate with OR, Infection Prevention, and other departments.
