Job summary

Snoqualmie Valley Health is seeking a Lead Sterile Processing Technician / Surgical Technologist to provide technical leadership for SPD and Surgical Services. The role focuses on processing, sterilization, and OR support, guiding staff and ensuring compliance with IFUs and standards.

Minimum 3–5 years in Sterile Processing or perioperative fields, with CRCST or CST certifications, and a track record of training others.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology program.
• CRCST certification through HSPA or CSPDT certification through CBSPD and current Surgical Technologist certification (CST NBSTSA).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sterile Processing and/or Surgical Technology.
• Experience leading, training, and mentoring Sterile Processing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Sterile Processing and Surgical Services.
• Lead compliance with IFUs and regulatory standards across SPD and OR.
• Coordinate workflow and staff readiness for HUB Surgery Center launch.
• Mentor staff and support onboarding of new SPD/Surgical Tech personnel.
• Advance instrument tracking, inventory, and instrument readiness for procedures.
