Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Space Vehicle Verification and Validation Lead to deliver a fully qualified system ready for launch. You will oversee spacecraft bus to payloads, ground systems, and launch vehicle integration, and plan and execute the system-level test program.

Requirements include a BS in engineering, 8+ years in space system development or test, and 2+ years in spacecraft verification, with strong systems engineering and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Software engineering or related technical subject area.
• 8+ years of space system development or test engineering experience.
• 2+ years of spacecraft verification experience.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering fundamentals: requirements derivation, verification and validation.
• Experience creating requirement verification reports and roll-up verification to system level sell-off.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to earn trust and maintain relationships.
• Ability to obtain a US Govt TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create and own system-level spacecraft verification plans and execution.
• Support launch site system testing, including payload and launch vehicle integration.
• Develop product line verification plans and roll-up deliverables.
• Deliver verification reports ensuring launch and operational readiness.
• Ensure all payload interface requirements are met and spacecraft is ready for count-down.
• Verify end-to-end functionality of system including ground system compatibility.
