Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Space Vehicle Verification and Validation Lead to define, capture and manage mission-specific requirements and verification activities. You will work with MBSE teams to ensure verification across spacecraft bus, payloads, ground systems, and launch interfaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Software engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• 8+ years of space system development or test engineering experience.
• 2+ years of spacecraft verification experience.
• Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama).
• Ability to define, trace, and verify requirements and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform as the System Verification Lead for Blue Ring missions across multiple interfaces and customers.
• Define system and mission verification plans with cross-functional teams.
• Engage with government agencies and contractors to analyze requirements and verification needs.
• Develop and manage verification modules with accurate flow-down and traceability.
• Establish verification approaches and plans for system requirements and tests.
• Collaborate across teams to gather verification data for rigorous sell-off.
• Create and own system-level spacecraft verification plans and execution.
• Support launch site system testing and payload/ground integration.
• Deliver verification reports ensuring launch and operational readiness.
