Blue Origin seeks a seasoned Principal Systems Engineer to serve as the Space Vehicle System Design Lead for Blue Ring missions. You will guide MBSE practices, coordinate across software, hardware, and integration teams, and shape the architecture for multiple spacecraft programs and customer missions.

You will mentor engineers, drive risk reduction, and ensure producibility and performance align with mission goals.

Formación

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
• 10+ years in spacecraft design or related field with progression to senior/lead roles.
• Strong experience in systems engineering, requirements, interfaces, and verification strategies.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Python; MBSE experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Own architectural baseline development and drive technical vision for spacecraft solutions.
• Lead requirements decomposition, interface control, and design standards.
• Provide direction for CONOPS development and mission planning.
• Lead milestone reviews and cross-program architectural decisions.
• Identify and mitigate complex system-level risks across all phases.
• Oversee integration of spacecraft hardware, software, and controls into test facilities and launch vehicles.
