Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Space Vehicle Requirements & Verification Architect to lead requirements decomposition, traceability, and verification for Blue Ring missions. You will coordinate with mission leads, system engineers, flight software, payload teams, and ground systems to define verification plans across multiple customers and missions.

The role demands strong systems engineering background, excellent communication, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Software engineering, or equivalent.
Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, etc.).
5+ years in space system development or test engineering.
2+ years spacecraft verification experience.
Proven ability to define, trace, and validate requirements and interfaces.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead mission requirements and verification activities for Blue Ring missions.
Collaborate across spacecraft, ground systems, and software teams to define verification plans.
Engage with government agencies and contractors to analyze verification needs.
Develop and manage verification modules with clear interfaces and traceability.
Establish verification plans and ensure data collection for system sell-off.
Create verification reports demonstrating launch readiness and compliance.
