Job summary

ICEYE US is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Manager to lead system-level design, requirements development, and V&V for space-based systems. You will own architectures, manage L1 requirements, and serve as a cross-functional technical authority across Space Systems, Software, SAR, AIT, and Operations.

You will balance engineering rigor with rapid execution, establish scalable SE practices, and guide multiple concurrent programs through TECH readiness reviews and lifecycle integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of systems engineering or multidisciplinary engineering experience.
• 2+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
• Experience owning system-level architecture, requirements development, and V&V.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing systems engineering team.
• Own system-level architectures, functional allocations, and baselines.
• Lead mission analysis, CONOPS, and trade studies to define capabilities.
• Develop and manage L1 system requirements with traceability.
• Allocate requirements to disciplines and maintain bidirectional traceability.
• Own system budgets, TPMs, and margins across programs.
• Lead system modeling, simulation, and analyses for design decisions.
• Oversee system verification and validation strategies and execution.
• Coordinate integration strategies and readiness reviews.
• Establish interface requirements and documentation across subsystems.
