Job summary

ICEYE US seeks a Systems Engineering Manager to lead architecture, requirements development, and V&V across space-based intelligence systems. You will guide cross-functional teams including Space Systems, Software, SAR, AIT, and Operations to ensure cohesive architectures and mission-aligned performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, scalable engineering processes, and the ability to balance rigor with rapid execution across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant engineering discipline required.
• 7+ years in systems engineering or multidisciplinary engineering, with complex systems experience.
• 2+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
• Demonstrated experience owning system-level architecture, requirements, performance management, and V&V.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level architecture, requirements development, and V&V planning and execution.
• Own system budgets, margins, and TPMs (mass, power, thermal, comms, pointing, data).
• Develop mission concepts, CONOPS, and system-level trade studies.
• Coordinate system integration across hardware, software, and operational elements.
• Establish interface management and baseline control for system elements.
• Lead technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and manage risk.
