Job summary

ICEYE US is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Manager to lead system-level design, requirements development, technical performance management, and verification and validation for space-based intelligence systems.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration with Space Systems, Software, SAR, AIT, and Operations, and the ability to balance rigor with rapid execution across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of systems engineering or multidisciplinary engineering experience, including complex aerospace/mission-critical systems.
• 2+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
• Experience owning system-level architecture, requirements development, and verification/validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing systems engineering team across multiple concurrent programs.
• Own system-level architectures, requirements, baselines, and bidirectional traceability.
• Develop mission concepts, CONOPS, and system-level trade studies.
• Oversee system-level V&V strategy, planning, and evidence closure.
• Establish system-level integration/test strategies and readiness criteria.
• Serve as cross-functional technical authority across engineering organizations.
