Job summary

ICEYE US is actively seeking an Aerospace Cybersecurity Architect to lead the security architecture of satellites, ground infrastructure, and mission systems. You will ensure security-by-design principles and regulatory compliance are embedded from design through operations.

The role requires translating complex cybersecurity risks into actionable architecture requirements, collaborating with software, systems, and mission teams, and driving risk-informed improvements across the hardened ICEYE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years supporting aerospace or space systems.
• 4+ years in cybersecurity architecture or security engineering.
• Experience developing security architectures for complex distributed systems.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-171/800-53, and CMMC.
• Ability to translate risks into engineering requirements.
• Excellent communication with engineering and leadership.
• U.S. government security clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain cybersecurity architectures for satellites, ground stations, mission systems.
• Establish security principles, requirements, and design standards for aerospace deployments.
• Integrate security-by-design into software development, DevSecOps, and mission design.
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and design reviews at architecture level.
• Analyze trust boundaries, data flows, and interfaces to identify risks.
• Develop security controls and mitigations for new aerospace technologies.
• Support security testing and incident investigations and share lessons learned.
