Job summary

E-Space is hiring a Chief Systems Engineer to lead spacecraft system architecture, requirements, and MBSE across a multi-satellite program. You will own SRD/ICDs, drive system-level trade studies, and oversee electrical architecture and verification across the program.

You will coordinate across RF, power, structures, software, and semiconductors, shepherding design baselines through gates and enabling on-orbit operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive systems engineering experience in space.
• Flight project carried from SRR through on-orbit operations.
• Experience with constellation programs and multi-satellite interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own the System Requirements Document (SRD), ICDs, and resource budgets across the full program lifecycle.
• Lead system-level trade studies spanning spacecraft, ground segment, and user terminal interfaces.
• Decompose system requirements to subsystems and manage trade space across mass, power, pointing, and cost.
• Baseline all ICDs and maintain configuration control through every program gate.
• Own spacecraft-level electrical architecture and define the electrical ICD framework.
• Lead electrical engineers across hardware VP organizations and enforce power, grounding, EMI/EMC standards.
• Own and execute integration, test campaigns, and HIL/SIL facilities.
• Drive the V&V plan and 15 TPMs to closure; manage requirements traceability.
• Chair TRB and defend baselines with documented rationale; resolve inter-division disputes.
