This senior role requires directing complex structural analyses for optomechanical assemblies, precision structures, and electronic packaging, with oversight across programs and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will mentor junior staff, serve as the technical authority on analysis methods, and drive reviews, design trades, and optimization

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience with aerospace structures
• Experience leading structural analysis on space systems
• Familiarity with NASA/DoD design standards and requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead development of analysis strategies for space structures
• Develop and validate finite element models for complex space structures
• Provide technical mentorship and reviews on high-visibility programs
• Prepare technical reports and deliverables for reviews and customers
• Interface with design, systems engineering, and test organizations
