Job summary

You will lead technical analysis, manage specs, and drive design reviews throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or physics with extensive systems engineering experience in aerospace, plus the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related scientific discipline with minimum 9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a systems engineer supporting requirements, design, production, and integration.
• 4+ years in systems engineering with space-based payloads or aerospace systems.
• Experience in aerospace or space industry environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of system architecture and design plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of all components and provide technical leadership.
• Perform technical analysis, manage specifications, and generate design reviews and documents.
• Support product test, design verification, requirements sell-off, and end item data package generation.
• Mentor and train junior engineers to strengthen the team’s technical expertise.
• Engage in continuous process improvement to enhance engineering efficiency and effectiveness.
• Utilize MBSE tools and methodologies to support model-based systems engineering.
• Contribute to proposal development and program planning activities.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. TS/SCI clearance upon being hired.
