Job summary

Moog in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Hardware Engineer to lead design, development, and production of space-grade electronics. You will act as technical lead and customer focal point, coordinating cross-functional teams across sites to deliver robust avionics solutions.

The role requires a BS in EE, 3+ years in electronic systems, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance. Onsite work, strong communication, and hands-on testing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and production of space electronics for customers.
• Provide project leadership to cross-functional teams across sites.
• Manage budget, schedule, risk and technical execution; control scope creep.
• Derive and verify design/test requirements to ensure performance and manufacturability.
• Author/ review analyses and reports; ensure timely customer deliverables.
• Read schematics, assist in design verification testing, and troubleshoot hardware failures.
