As a senior individual contributor, you will mentor engineers, ensure compliance with aerospace requirements, and drive qualification through production while partnering with systems, software, mechanical, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years designing power electronics for aerospace, defense, or high‑reliability applications.
• Experience designing DC‑DC power converters or related power conversion circuits.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Cadence Allegro, Altium, or similar).
• Experience using simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, Mathcad, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of power semiconductor devices; MOSFETs required; IGBT/SiC/GaN beneficial.
• Experience supporting hardware through full lifecycle from architecture to production.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design high-reliability power electronics including DC-DC converters and related subsystems.
• Lead hardware bring‑up, integration, debug, verification, and qualification activities.
• Develop and review specifications, design reviews, test plans, and verification documentation.
• Solve complex technical issues using structured root‑cause analysis.
• Provide technical mentorship and design guidance to engineers.
• Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
