Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Seattle area is seeking a Manager to lead the New Glenn Fluids Design team. You will oversee hands-on design, development, supplier management, and system engineering for the fluids subsystem of the new upper stage.

The role requires strong leadership, deep fluids knowledge, and experience with cryogenic components, testing campaigns, and GD&T. You will mentor engineers, enforce design standards, and drive safe, repeatable spaceflight while partnering across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. degree in engineering or science (aerospace, mechanical, chemical, nuclear, or physics).
• 2+ years managing technical teams and/or leading functional groups.
• 5+ years aerospace industry or related field experience.
• Strong project management and leadership skills focused on delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, supplier management, and system engineering for fluids on the New Glenn stage.
• Provide mentoring and professional development for team members.
• Plan and oversee testing campaigns, stage qualification, build, hot fire, and launch.
• Set design standards and manage interfaces between systems.
