Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Washington state seeks an experienced engineering leader to manage fluid systems teams on the New Glenn upper stage. You will drive design across fluids, thermodynamics, cryogenics, and supplier management while mentoring engineers and coordinating tests.

You will oversee engineering changes, drawings reviews, and MRP-based purchasing, guiding programs from concept through qualification, build, hot fire, and launch with a strong safety culture and collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading technical teams or functional groups
• 5+ years in aerospace or related field
• Strong fundamentals in fluids, thermodynamics, heat transfer, stress analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor fluid-systems engineers across design, development, supplier management and system engineering
• Drive design standards and interfaces between subsystems for the New Glenn upper stage
• Oversee major test campaigns, stage qualification, build, hot fire, and launch activities
• Manage engineering changes, drawings and the purchase order system (MRP)
