MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA seeks a space electronics lead engineer to lead a team of electrical engineers in the design, integration, and test of the next generation of space payloads and systems. Payload designs span digital, analog, RF, and power designs addressing national security needs.

An ideal candidate is self-driven, mentors junior staff, and can balance detailed design discussions with high-level stakeholder conversations while assessing technical risk and making informed

Qualifications

PhD in Electrical Engineering with 3 years related experience
Or Master’s in Electrical Engineering with 10 years related experience
Experience with high reliability electronics design: analog/digital, power, RF, satellite subsystems, PCB layout
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to obtain security clearance from DoD

Responsibilities

Lead a team of electrical engineers in design, integration, and test of space payloads
Inform design/test trades with cross-functional leads
Mentor junior staff and assess technical risk
Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders
