Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory's Electronics for Contested Space Group in Lexington, MA seeks an electronics and test engineer to design, build, and test advanced RF systems and space payloads. You will work on power electronics, RF design, hardware integration, test automation, data analysis, and documentation for national security programs.

The role involves occasional travel for integration and test events and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing, building and testing complex electronics at PCB/system level.
• Familiar with RF, power electronics, embedded systems, or satellite subsystems.
• Experience with test automation (Python, COSMOS, LabVIEW, GPIB/SCPI) and data analysis.
• Ability to obtain security clearance for DoD work; Top Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test advanced electronics and RF space payloads.
• Contribute to power electronics, RF design, and hardware development.
• Integrate and test systems; automate tests and analyze data.
• Document schematics, interconnects, layouts, and performance.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams on national-security programs.
