Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory's Electronics for Contested Space group is seeking an electronics & test engineer to design, build, and test advanced RF systems and space payloads. You will lead teams, drive integration, test automation, and data analysis across multi-disciplinary efforts for national security missions.

The role requires hands-on hardware development, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel for integration and test events.

Qualifications

• Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of relevant experience considered.
• Hands-on experience building and testing complex electronic circuits at PCB and system levels.
• Experience with RF design, analog/digital/mixed-signal electronics, power electronics, embedded systems, radar, and satellite subsystems.
• Proficient in scientific programming (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar).
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test advanced electronics and RF systems and space payloads.
• Lead teams of test engineers, specialists, and technicians.
• Conduct integration and test, develop test automation, and analyze data.
• Prepare documentation (schematics, interconnects, board layout, performance).
• Communicate results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support sponsor and community presentations as needed.
