Job summary

Carver Road Hospitality's Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a professional Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations, with a focus on training and staff support. You will help ensure safety, quality, and timely service for both dining room and events.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years as a Sous Chef, is proficient with POS systems and computer tools, and communicates effectively with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Sous Chef or similar role.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
• Train and support BOH staff; maintain safety and sanitation.
• Ensure order accuracy via POS and kitchen communication.
• Assist in payroll, inventory, and purchasing.
• Plan menus and manage supplies.
• Schedule and coach employees.
