Job summary

NexDine is seeking a Sous Chef in Pittsburgh, PA to lead culinary operations and ensure top-tier food quality and presentation. You will supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff, contribute to menu development, and drive cost-conscious production while maintaining safety standards.

The role offers full-time hours, a competitive salary in the $55k–$60k range with weekly direct deposit, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide hospitality team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in similar role.
• Certifications: ServSafe, Choke Safety, Allergen Awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute culinary results to exceed customer expectations.
• Supervise culinary and Front of House staff and ensure service standards.
• Assist in menu writing and cost control measures.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
• Maintain vendor relationships and inventory control.
• Monitor safety, sanitation, and uniform guidelines.
