Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (L5) to lead the technical strategy for customers, own architecture discussions, drive platform adoption, and act as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects.

You will coordinate cross-functional resources and design scalable, production-grade solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, while influencing product direction with structured feedback.

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on technical roles.
Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding, debugging, and solution-building.
Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture: pipelines, streaming, lakehouse, cloud-native platforms.
Proficient with the Databricks Platform and able to develop a technical specialization.
Experience leading architecture discussions with senior stakeholders and designing production-grade solutions.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment.
Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects and engineering leads.
Drive platform adoption and cross-functional delivery with DSAs, SSAs, and partners.
