Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (L5) to own the technical strategy for customers, driving platform adoption and serving as a trusted advisor to technical leads and architects. You will lead architecture discussions, design scalable production-grade solutions, and coordinate cross-functional teams across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.

You will develop a specialization in a domain, influence product direction with customer feedback, and work with customers on

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture or related senior technical roles.
Proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding skills.
Expertise in distributed data systems and lakehouse patterns.
Experience with production deployments on AWS, Azure or GCP.
Ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to deployment.
Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics.
Advise customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors.
Drive platform adoption and consumption growth within accounts.
Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Provide feedback on customer requirements to influence product direction.
