Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption across data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics.

You will collaborate with customer senior leaders, run whiteboard sessions, and help shape product direction, using Python/SQL and cloud platforms to deliver scalable, production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical role.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding ability.
• Expertise in distributed data systems architecture and lakehouse patterns.
• Experience deploying production workloads on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics.
• Advise customer architects/engineers and drive platform adoption and growth.
• Collaborate with DSAs, SSAs, and partners to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Provide feedback to influence product direction based on customer needs.
