Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect (L5) to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption.

You will combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to position Databricks as the foundation of customers’ data and AI strategy. You will own end-to-end technical strategy, lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, and serve as a trusted advisor to customer architects

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on role.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding and solution-building skills.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture and data pipelines.
• Proficient with the Databricks Platform and developing a technical specialization.
• Experience leading architecture discussions with senior stakeholders and doing design reviews.
• Experience with production deployments on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) including security and governance.
• Track record of driving platform adoption and customer value.
• Excellent communication translating complex architectures to business value.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
