About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lead Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution design and presales activities for our airport domain projects across North America. This strategic role combines technical expertise, domain knowledge, and client-facing capabilities to craft cutting-edge, scalable solutions that address the unique needs of the aviation industry.

As a Solution Architect, you will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to drive technical engagement from ideation through implementation. Your contributions will be instrumental in positioning our offerings, securing new business, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and design of enterprise-scale solutions for airport initiatives, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices.
• Develop comprehensive architectural blueprints including infrastructure, integration, data, security, and scalability components.
• Collaborate with sales teams to shape solution strategy and respond to RFPs with compelling technical proposals.
• Present solutions to stakeholders through detailed documentation, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate solution feasibility and value.
• Gather and analyze client requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Integrate core airport systems such as AODB, FIDS, BHS, and CUTE/CUPPS with third-party platforms.
• Support implementation teams during software development, system integration, and deployment phases.
• Evaluate and recommend modern tech stacks, open-source frameworks, and cloud-native approaches.
• Provide hands-on contribution to software design and architecture reviews.
• Mentor and guide developers and junior architects on best practices and technical standards.
• Act as the primary technical contact for clients throughout presales, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Collaborate with vendors, OEMs, and partners to coordinate system installation and commissioning.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Participate in discovery sessions, technical workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Craft tailored solution proposals addressing client pain points and business objectives.
• Engage in strategic discussions with airport authorities and technology partners.
• Lead architectural governance, quality assurance, and code review processes.
• Support project managers and cross-functional teams in achieving timely and high-quality delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Up to 13 years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in solution architecture (preferably in the airport/aviation sector).
• Proven experience in technical presales, client engagement, and RFP/RFI processes.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise and open-source technology ecosystems.
• Airport systems (preferred): AODB, FIDS, CUTE/CUPPS
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of aviation standards, regulations, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
