Ladders is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to join the team of a leader in the healthcare space. This role will shape enterprise technology solutions for scalable, reliable healthcare applications and services.

You will lead architectural strategy across complex initiatives, partnering with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align decisions with goals. Remote in US; visa sponsorship not available. Competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and architecture roles, including tech lead or enterprise architect.
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 5+ years with SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB and Redis.
• 5+ years in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), microservices and API design.
• DevOps tools experience: Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Git, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and frontend frameworks like Angular/JavaScript.
• Familiar with AI/ML technologies, Generative AI and LLMs.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Solution Architect to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will help shape enterprise technology solutions that support scalable, reliable healthcare applications and services. You will lead architectural strategy across complex initiatives, partnering closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align technical decisions with organizational goals. The ideal candidate brings deep full-stack and cloud experience, along with the ability to evaluate modern technologies and guide teams toward sound, future-ready designs.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $106,605 – $260,590 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and execute architectural strategies aligned with project objectives
• Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within assigned projects
• Develop architectural designs and solutions, ensuring adherence to standards
• Mentor and guide junior and senior architects in project-related tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions
• Assess new technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance application processes
• Lead architecture design reviews and identify gaps for improvement

Qualifications

• Strong experience with non-functional requirements, including SLA, response time, and multi-threading
• Expertise in interoperability standards, including FHIR and HL7
• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• 5+ years with SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• 5+ years in cloud platforms, including GCP and AWS, microservices, and API design
• Experience with DevOps tools, including Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, and Git, as well as Kafka
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and front-end frameworks such as Angular and JavaScript
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, especially Generative AI and LLMs
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
