Job summary

Edwards Legal is seeking a qualified Solicitor or CILEX/FILEX with strong L&T experience to join its specialist Landlord & Tenant practice. You will advise Landlords and managing agents on residential property disputes and oversee a team of lawyers.

You will handle long leasehold enforcement, breaches of covenants, possession and related issues, with cases in the Court and Tribunal - Property Chamber. Flexible working is available, with 1-2 days per week in East Sussex if required; otherwise

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX/FILEX with strong L&T landlord experience.
• Experience in residential property disputes and leasehold enforcement.
• Experience with long leasehold enforcement including court/tribunal proceedings.
• IT literate with case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of lawyers within the L&T practice.
• Provide complex advice to Landlord/RMC/RTM clients and managing agents.
• Manage cases in all levels of Court and Tribunal - Property Chamber.
• Coordinate remote/office hybrid work and maintain client engagements.
