Job summary

MN8 Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Technician III to perform electrical and mechanical service, lead safety practices and train junior technicians. The role focuses on keeping solar, storage and EV charging systems operating at peak performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will work with a field team, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot complex installations across multiple sites, with travel and weekend on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand basic design drawings and schematics.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety, integrity, initiative and quality on all tasks.
• Attend and participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Oversee and train Solar Technician 1 and Solar Technician 2.
• Ensure PPE is received, inspected and used per policies.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar, storage and EV charging systems.
• Troubleshoot, determine root causes and repair equipment to restore service.
• Complete tasks safely, correctly and on time.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and parts in good condition and properly stored.
• Document all work with checklists, timecards and photos.
• Complete other duties assigned by supervisor.
