Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking a Solar Site HSE Supervisor in Eaton, OH. You will lead health and safety on projects, ensure compliance, and develop site-specific safety plans while coordinating training and inspections.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in OH&S, applicable safety designation, and 5+ years in a safety role, with strong communication and stakeholder skills. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Holds safety designation.
• 5 years’ experience in a health and safety role; supervisory experience is an asset.
• Solid understanding of OH&S and environmental legislation and HSE processes.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills; stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of construction processes and Microsoft Office; adaptable to new tech.

Responsibilities

• Implements and supports project HSE plans and safe work practices.
• Delivers project-specific HSE training and communications.
• Identifies hazards; conducts HSE inspections and audits.
• Develops emergency response and environmental plans.
• Maintains relationships with stakeholders and mentors HSE staff.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
