Job summary

HANWHA Q CELLS USA INC. seeks a Process Team Leader in Dalton, GA to guide the Process Engineering and Technician teams in achieving line optimization, high-yield quality, and target performance in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

You will apply solar module manufacturing expertise, lead continuous improvement efforts, manage cross-functional collaboration with Production, Equipment, Quality, and EHS teams, and develop team members through coaching and KPI-driven performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial, or related).
• 10 years of manufacturing experience with a focus on solar module, semiconductor, or display processes.
• 2–3 years in a Team Leader/Manager role.
• Deep understanding of solar module manufacturing processes and defect mechanisms.
• Bilingual in Korean and English.
• Strong leadership, communication, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Process Engineering and Technician teams across all shifts.
• Establish shift handover protocols and ensure 24/7 line coverage.
• Conduct performance evaluations, set KPIs, and develop team members.
• Plan resource allocation and prioritize tasks across the line.
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement countermeasures for line issues.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance and drive cost reduction.
• Standardize documentation including PFMEAs, Control Plans, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Utilize data tools to monitor line stability, yield trends, and loss Pareto.
