Job summary
SunPower seeks an experienced Solar Crew Lead to supervise the installation of residential solar energy systems and mentor a 2-4 person crew. You will ensure safety, uphold quality standards, and meet project deadlines on-site at customers’ homes, adapting to varied roof types and sites.
You will explain the system to customers, coordinate with fleet and field operations, keep sites tidy, and actively resolve concerns. Occasional travel and overtime may be required to finish assignments.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with residential or commercial solar installation.
- Experience leading a small crew and coordinating field activities.
- Familiarity with PV systems and system troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a crew of 2-4 installers daily.
- Maintain safety awareness and implement ORM procedures.
- Ensure quick, quality installations and customer service.
- Explain work and systems to customers on-site.
- Coordinate with fleet management as needed.
- Keep job sites clean and presentable during and after installation.
- Motivate and support install crew and resolve concerns.
