Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Lead Installer to join our residential solar installation crew in the United States. The role involves coordinating and guiding fellow installers on a daily basis to complete solar projects safely and efficiently.

You will layout, assemble, and seal components, ensuring quality and timely completion while maintaining site safety and organization. The position requires prior solar installation experience, a high school diploma (or equivalent), a clean driving record, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous solar installation experience is required; related construction or military experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure crew truck is stocked.
• Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment and tools for installation.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structures and supports.
• Assemble racking, solar modules, panels or support structures per project plan.
• Ensure a clean and orderly job site and perform project clean up.
• Maintain safety for personal, crew, and job site at all times.
• Lead crew through safe, effective and efficient installations.
• Provide leadership and technical support to crew members.
• Assist with solar battery installations when assigned.
• May serve as acting Foreperson in the absence of Forepersons.
