Job summary
Solara Home Energy is seeking an experienced Solar Construction Foreman I to lead residential installation crews on new home projects. You will plan daily work, assign tasks, and ensure work aligns with plans, codes, and high quality standards, while enforcing safety on site.
The role requires strong leadership, the ability to read construction plans, and proven experience in solar or related construction. NABCEP/OSHA/Powerwall certifications are preferred; California project sites available.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in residential solar or related field leadership roles.
- Foreman or Crew Lead experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and layout drawings.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and site best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise residential solar crews on new home construction projects.
- Plan daily work, assign tasks, and keep jobs on schedule.
- Ensure installs meet plans, code, and MARS quality standards.
- Enforce safety policies and best practices on site.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, builders, and inspectors.
- Troubleshoot field issues and maintain clear communication.
