Carter Services is hiring a Lead Solar Installation Tech in Torrance, CA to direct a team installing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems. You will mentor installers, ensure quality workmanship, and follow design plans to meet project timelines.

You will oversee safety compliance, coordinate tasks, and maintain client communication while delivering reliable solar solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on solar panel installation.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, system design and safety.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach and manage a team.
• Ability to test installed systems for efficiency.
• Ability to lift heavy weights, work from heights and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to communicate with clients, stakeholders and installers.

Responsibilities

• Captain of the installation team, guiding technicians to install, diagnose and maintain rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
• Ensure high-quality work while complying with safety regulations.
• Coach and mentor team members and follow design plans for project success.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities and communicate with customers.
