Job summary

Citadel Roofing and Solar in SoCal is seeking a Solar Crew Lead to manage rooftop solar installation crews and ensure safety and quality on each project. You will supervise pre-wire and installation tasks, verify material quantities, and maintain field documentation and as-built drawings.

Reporting to the Crew Lead, you will coordinate with the Superintendent, track daily progress, and ensure all installations meet Citadel standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential rooftop solar installation experience.
• Ability to read solar layouts and SLDs.
• Experience managing a production crew.
• Electrical solar experience with Enphase/SolarEdge.
• Knowledge of solar structural requirements and roofing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality installations that can be commissioned and inspected without issues.
• Provide 100% of required photos daily.
• Maintain truck stock mid/max levels.
• Communicate with Citadel Superintendent daily.
• AM confirm material pickup and daily activity plan.
• PM confirm completed activities and note field issues.
• Approve layout deviations and supply as-built drawings if needed.
• Submit weekly timecards and safety documents.
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
• Notify material needs to maintain stock levels.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams.
• Navigate iPad and apps to deliverables.
