Job summary

New Energy Equity in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Lead Field Service Technician III- Solar to serve as the technical authority in the field, leading complex inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, owning sites, and mentoring technicians. This on-site, field-based role is performed outdoors at solar sites in and around Las Cruces.

A Master Electrician license is required; no prior solar background is necessary as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Master Electrician license required.
• Experience leading field teams in electrical work is preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and work outdoors on solar sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs at solar sites.
• Own assigned sites and mentor technicians in the field.
• Shape how field work gets done and ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinate with teams to complete on-site tasks efficiently.
