Job summary

Cinterra, Inc. in Virginia is seeking a Superintendent (Renewables) for the Sycamore Cross/Windsor project. The role leads on-site construction activities for utility-scale solar, partnering with the Construction Manager to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating crews, reviewing plans, forecasting, and maintaining reports, with travel as needed and strong knowledge of MV and DC electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of construction management in electrical, utility-scale solar experience (required).
• NFPA 70E Certification (preferred).
• Familiar with OSHA regulations (required), OSHA training and certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value throughout the company and support the safety program.
• Assist site manager with developing project budget and estimating production rates.
• Perform accurate take-offs and production reporting.
• Assist Site Manager with achieving customer approval of required documents.
• Supervise and direct foremen and field crews in solar construction and maintenance activities.
• Maintain a safe work environment by monitoring progress and inspecting sites for hazards.
• Ensure projects complete on time and within budget and quality standards.
• Review project documents and direct construction activities; coordinate field installations.
