Solar Utility Project Superintendent

Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations on a utility-scale solar project. You will partner with the Construction Manager to deliver a safe, quality, on-time product while directing foremen and field crews, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining project documentation and client communication.

The role requires strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills, familiarity with MV and DC electrical systems, and the ability to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred.
• Three or more years of construction management in electrical/solar experience.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations; NFPA70E preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value throughout the project.
• Assist site manager with budgeting and production rate estimates.
• Supervise foremen and field crews, maintain schedule and profitability.
• Review project documents, plans and specifications and direct construction activities.
• Accurately submit daily reports and attend weekly progress meetings.
• Assist Site Manager with weekly forecasting and look-ahead.
• Attend customer-required meetings and address any questions that arise.
• Ensure that all project records are accurate and adequately maintained.
