Job summary

PNC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the SRC First Response organization. Based in Birmingham, AL with eligible locations including Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; or Dallas, TX, you will design, develop and deploy software solutions using current platforms.

You will document procedures and maintain software while focusing on customer needs and risk management. The role emphasizes detailed design, coding, testing, and documentation, with incentive eligibility and a competitive base

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or a comparable combination of education, certifications and experience.
3+ years of direct industry experience in software development.

Responsibilities

Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.
