Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to drive technical design and development within our Site Reliability Engineering Center (SRC).

Based in an IT hub, you will work on-call as part of a 24/7 rotation and provide guidance across teams to deliver resilient software solutions. You will leverage Java Spring Boot, OpenShift and Kubernetes to troubleshoot APIs, monitor systems with Dynatrace, Elasticsearch and Logscale, and work with MongoDB and Oracle databases.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent with 3+ years of direct industry experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred; applicable certifications often desired.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable mix of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Create and lead technical design and development of software solutions.
Propose and design software addressing complex business needs.
Prepare required technical and procedural documentation.
Facilitate complex problem resolution and provide guidance to colleagues.
Review coding, testing, and documentation of software.
Apply modern principles and tools to advance business initiatives.
