Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with motion control software and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Mentor software engineers and guide automation projects to successful delivery.
• Lead the full software development lifecycle from requirements to commissioning.
• Collaborate with vehicle systems, electrical engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and integrate systems.
• Define and own the software lifecycle infrastructure, including branching, release governance, and toolchain integrations.
• Develop project plans, monitor progress, and identify risks impacting delivery timelines.
• Implement best practices for coding quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Stay current on programmable hardware and motion control trends and incorporate new tools and methods.
• Foster collaboration and professional development within the automation team and with external partners.
• Oversee development and release of software for assigned components and systems.
