Job summary

Lanco seeks a Lead Software Development Engineer to drive real-time embedded software across full-stack development, UI, and system integration. You will mentor engineers, define SDLC standards, and coordinate with hardware teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in product development, deep firmware/embedded experience, and strong C/C++ and motion control know-how. Willingness to collaborate across international teams is a plus.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree with emphasis in electrical, computer, or CS.
• Minimum 10+ years in product development within heavy machinery or related industries.
• Experience with real-time embedded control systems and software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with mechanical/electrical teams to integrate software with hardware.
• Define and maintain SDLC infrastructure, branching and release governance.
• Mentor software engineers in programmable hardware and displays.
• Oversee software releases for components and systems you own.
• Ensure code quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
