Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive hands-on technical leadership in building AI-enabled, multi‑stack features across frontend and backend. You will deliver end-to-end solutions, set standards, and collaborate with product, design, and platform teams to ship customer-facing capabilities.

You’ll contribute to AI-powered workflows, mentor engineers, and help steer architectural decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on coding in React, TypeScript and Python.
• Experience building production web applications.
• Ability to lead through influence and code reviews.
• Strong collaboration across product, design, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

• Build End to End Solutions: design and implement full-stack features across frontend and backend, hands-on in React/TS/Python.
• Set Technical Standards: establish and uphold best practices for code quality, performance, accessibility, testing.
• Collaborate Cross Functionally: partner with product, design, and backend teams to shape APIs and UX.
• Drive Execution: break down initiatives, provide estimates, deliver from development to production.
• Mentor Engineers: support growth through pairing, code reviews, and guidance.
