Arkan Homes is building an internal software platform to connect financial, operational, construction, and client workflows. We seek a Lead Software Engineer to own this initiative and shape how technology supports our growth.

You will work directly with a Co-CEO to understand operations and translate requirements into working software. This hands-on role involves leading product discovery, system design, development, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record taking a project from unclear business problems to production systems.
• Strong experience building and launching modern web applications.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and PostgreSQL; Python in existing engine.
• Experience integrating with third-party services and APIs.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience working with business owners, executives, or nontechnical stakeholders.
• Startup, small-business, or freelance background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery, system design, development, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
• Own software projects end-to-end from concept to production.
• Mentor and recruit additional developers as the team grows.
• Build the cash-flow forecasting platform and dashboards atop it.
• Develop internal AI workflows and automation across email, Slack, and other systems.
• Create a client-facing portal for home selections and construction progress.
