Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the Application Software (Finance) team in Hawthorne, CA. You will own the roadmap, lead engineers, and deliver mission-critical finance software that connects to ERP, FP&A, and financial platforms supporting launch programs and manufacturing.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, and collaborate across engineering and finance stakeholders to ensure data integrity, reliability, and security while scaling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science with 3+ years of software development experience; OR 6+ years of professional software experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ years of experience with object-oriented programming.
• 1+ years of experience leading software teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of software engineers.
• Own all aspects of a system roadmap including prioritization, implementation, and delivery.
• Provide strong technical leadership with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Manage and track multiple priorities toward shared project goals.
• Develop highly reliable and available software systems.
• Maintain high standards of excellence and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with department and company leaders to ensure success.
