Job summary

Progressive Leasing, a leading FinTech organization, seeks a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack to own architecture and delivery of web and API layers. This remote-eligible role guides a distributed team across time zones, defining standards and driving AI-first engineering practices aligned with product goals.

You will shape the technical roadmap, oversee code quality, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Product, Design, QA, and Backend teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Lead architecture of the Angular app and related APIs/services.
• Define coding standards, patterns, and best practices; drive AI-first engineering mindset.
• Drive technical roadmap decisions aligned with product goals and timelines.
• Provide architecture, design, testing, and implementation across web UI to backend APIs and LLm integration.
• Lead in-depth code reviews and root-cause analysis of production issues.
• Engage with industry groups or open-source communities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of web features from scoping through release and monitoring.
• Break down complex requirements into actionable tasks for a distributed team.
• Identify and mitigate technical risk throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and release management for platforms.
• Create and maintain observability and logging across all layers.
• Develop and deploy secure, accessible solutions from the start.
